'Glee' Actor Samantha Marie Ware Says Costar Lea Michele Made Work on Show 'A Living Hell'

Tuesday June 2, 2020

Actor Samantha Marie Ware is calling out her former "Glee" costar Lea Michele after she shared a tweet in which she offered her support for Black Lives Matter and condemned police brutality, Variety reports.

Ware re-tweeted Michele's message and alleged that the actor mistreated her while working on "Glee" together, saying Michele made the show a "living hell" for her. Ware also accused Michele of "traumatic microaggressions" that made her "question a career in Hollywood." Ware alleged that Michele "told everyone that if [you] had the opportunity you would 'shit in my wig!'"

Black actor Dabier responded to Michele's tweet as well, also alleging hostility from her while working together.

"Girl you wouldn't let me sit at the table with the other cast members cause 'I didn't belong there,'" the "Black Lightning" actor wrote. "Fuck you Lea." Vulture reports Dabier appeared in a 2014 episode of "Glee."

Former "Glee" stars Amber Patrice Riley and Alex Newell reacted to the tweets with pointed gifs.

Michele has yet to respond to the actors' accusations.
