PopUps: 'Riverdale' Star K.J. Apa to Star in Faith-Based Film 'I Still Believe'

"Riverdale" star K.J. Apa is set to star in a faith-based film alongside Gary Sinise called "I Still Believe," Deadline reports.

Apa, who plays Archie Andrews on the CW teen soap, will portray singer Jeremy Camp in the film, directed by Jon and Andrew Erwin's film, it was announced at CinemaCon.

Deadline notes "I Still Believe" will follow Camp's spiritual journey. Sinise will play Camp's father.

Camp sold over 5 million albums and toured the world over 36 countries. He's been nominated for two American Music Awards several ASCP awards and was Billboard's No. 2 artist of the decade in 2010.

The film is being released by Kingdom Studios, which had a hit last year with "I Can Only Imagine," making over $83 million via Lionsgate's sister company, Roadside Attractions, Deadline reports.
