'Toy Story's' Woody Lap Dances with Hellboy in Clever 'Montero' Parody

READ TIME: 1 MIN.

Since its release on March 26 on all streaming platforms, "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)" has become a huge international hit. Lil Nax X's song debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and (according to its Wiki) has topped the charts in Canada, Finland, the Republic of Ireland, Lithuania, Norway, and the United Kingdom, and peaked within the top ten of the record charts in Australia, Austria, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Slovakia, Sweden, and Switzerland.

So it isn't surprising to see a parody video - a very funny parody video - that Lil Nas X loved so much he tweeted it and gave credit to its creator, Kingdom Hearts. What is surprising is to see Woody (from "Toy Story") as a Lil Nas X stand-in, recreating his sexy dance with Hellboy (a.k.a. the Devil) that has made the song controversial with social conservatives.

But as the French website TÊTU adds: "This one is not the only one to have thought that the universe of 'Montero (Call Me By Your Name)' and 'Toy Story' would go hand in hand: indeed, another content creator used of the cult video game GTA 5 to entirely design a clip centered on a romance between Woody and Buzz Lightyear with the rapper's single in the background. Suffice to say that our memories of youth will not stay intact for long."

Can we only hope that Woody becomes the next gay icon?
