Harry Styles Shocks in Leaked Images From 'Little Mermaid' Themed Shoot

Harry Styles is once again turning heads but this time it's for his "Little Mermaid" inspired photoshoot.

In leaked images from a 2019 photoshoot for "Saturday Night Live," Styles is pictured in costume as the titular mermaid, Ariel, with the pictures causing quite the stir online, according to Newsweek.

The gender-bending pop star is pictured with her signature red wig and mermaid tail, posing with a glass of champagne and a cigarette. The images that did make it to the public originally were of Styles in a ballerina costume, but still with the champagne and cigarettes.

Fans far and wide have been quick to continue to express their admiration for the British singer's fashion choices, which often find him wearing traditional women's clothing, jewelry and painted nails. Back in December, he made headlines when he covered Vogue in a dress.

Ironically, much of the humor around this photo stems from the fact that just last year, Disney was pursuing Styles, who is set to play a bisexual cop in an upcoming film, for the role of Prince Eric in their live action remake of the "Little Mermaid." Nevertheless, the former One Directioner wasn't cast in the role, which is opposite singer/actor Halle Bailey, as it went to Jonah Hauer-King.
