Prada Skincare Has Arrived

Christopher Ehlers READ TIME: 2 MIN.

While Prada has long been a cornerstone in the realm of luxury fragrances, the Italian fashion label has finally gotten in the skin game. And because it's Prada, they've gone all-out in terms of high-quality formulations and, of course, gorgeous packaging.

Launching both Prada Skin and Prada Color, the latter of which is a new makeup collection, Prada is looking to rethink beauty by reimagining existing definitions and expectations while opening new perspectives and possibilities of beauty.

According to a press release, Prada is looking at the idea of rethinking skin through the lens of adaptation, harnessing the power of adaptive skin technology. The range of skincare products, called Augmented Skin, seeks to empower the skin's inherent resilience to renew, regenerate, and reinforce itself. And, like most of what Prada does, Prada Skin will "reconcile minimalism and maximalism; sophistication and playfulness; simplicity and versatility, drawing from both heritage and technology for formulas and packaging that bring luxury and responsibility into harmonious conversation."

The three-product Augmented Skin range includes a cleanser ($80), serum ($370), and cream ($360), all of which include Prada's proprietary Adapto.gn Smart Technology, a technology synergizing targeted adaptogens with potent derm actives, increasing our skin's resistance to environmental stressors while renewing and reinforcing the skin.
