In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Vanjie explained that she has been waiting for the right group to join "All Stars" after previously declining to join the show multiple times.
According to her, this cast doesn't seem "desperate" for drama compared to other seasons.
"This group of girls, we ain't desperate like that," she said. According to Vanjie, this "All Stars" season will be about business because as she has yet to win any maxi challenges on the show – despite having being one of the most popular, and having one of the most popular episodes, from her time on "Drag Race" season 10.
"I feel like I should've won one too," said Vanjie. "That's why I came back. I need to win some. The first time I was trying to be all cute and find some dick and you know, have fun. This time I said I'm not going to get no dick, I'll get the dick later."
Amen.
