Watch: The 'Senate Twink' Resurfaces in Australia, Where 'The Gays Are Nice'

Aidan Maese-Czeropski – the so-called "Senate Twink" who was fired after video of him allegedly having sex in a government conference room circulated in December of 2023 – has resurfaced in Australia... and on OnlyFans.
Maese-Czeropski "was just 24 when he was let go by Maryland Senator Ben Cardin, less than a day after the lewd video was exposed," UK newspaper the Daily Mail recounted. But after suffering a "breakdown" in the wake of the scandal and departing the U.S. on a one-way ticket to South Africa, the former staffer is now making a life in Sydney, thanks to the advice of a New Zealand friend he made during his travels.
He has also, the Mail relayed, "launched an OnlyFans in the 16 months since" his firing, and recently been "interviewed for the first time since his termination..."
Maese-Czeropski dove into the aftermath of the video, which "was allegedly shared in a private group for gay men in the political scene," the Mail reported at the time.
Photos also circulated that showed the staffer "naked and on all fours on a table where Senators often sit and ask questions during hearings," the Mail said in the 2023 article, as well as "on his hands and knees facing the camera while only wearing a jock strap."
The former staffer told Gay Sydney News in a lengthy interview that his mental health was hit hard by his firing and by the hatred he faced on social media. "Mentally, I spent a little bit in the psych ward after the fact," the Mail quoted him telling Gay Sydney News, and adding, "it's overwhelming to realize and to know that tens of millions of people literally despise you."
A strange double standard presented itself in the midst of the firestorm, Maese-Czeropski told the outlet. "I got all these death threats, hatred, and the guy who was the top didn't," he recalled of the backlash to the leaked video.
A much-derided post at his LinkedIn in which he claimed to "have been attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda" and said he "would never disrespect my workplace" was the work of a comms person, he said, and he simply "copied and pasted" the text when he was instructed to post it.
Maese-Czeropski said he was "catatonic" after the scandal broke, and he's been diagnosed with PTSD. His prospects were in ruins, conservatives had a field day lambasting him, and he was essentially unemployable. "Everyone in DC knew me, and it was kind of gross and horrifying because I'm not someone who likes to be in the public spotlight at all," he told Gay Sydney News.
Looking back, he now says that he wasn't treated worse for being gay, though. "I think no matter what, when you have something as salacious as sex in the Senate," Maese-Czeropski mused, "it's going to go viral, regardless of whether or not it's gay or straight."
Feeling he needed to go someplace to clear his head, he ended up in South Africa, where he made friends with a young woman from New Zealand. After they traveled together for several months, she advised him to give Sydney, Australia a try, and he took her advice.
Now settled in Sydney, Maese-Czeropski told Gay Sydney News that "the gays are nice" there and he has not encountered any "mean gays." He said his new gig as an OnlyFans creator is better paying and makes him happier than his work as a senate aide.
He's keeping the handle "Senate Twink," however, and uses it for his NSFW X account as well as for his Insta. "It's a good conversation starter," he said.
